Back to Life Counseling is dedicated to helping individuals overcome personal obstacles, to reach a place where life can be lived to the full.

Back to Life Counseling is goal focused, and emphasizes the power of the individual to make choices that can lead to productive and fulfilling lives. 

About Me

Jason Porter is the founder of Back to Life counseling. Jason has been in the counseling field for almost 20 years.  Starting his mental health career at Johnson County Mental Health working with young adults, he received his Masters Degree in Counseling from the University of Missouri -Kansas City in 2005.  Jason has been working the last 18 years for school  districts around the Kansas City area.  He has opened this private practice to help serve the community at a greater capacity.
